Complaint Against Hong Kong Barrister Douglas Kwok (郭憬憲大律師) of Wong Man Kit SC's Chambers - 香港特別行政區 訴 吳銘揚 (07/05/2021, HCMA197/2020) [2021] HKCFI 1259
I am lodging a formal complaint, as a member of the public, against Hong Kong Barrister Douglas Kwok ( 郭憬憲大律師 ) of Wong Man Kit SC's Chambers, Suites 902-905, Bank of America Tower, 12 Harcourt Rd, Central, H.K., for his blatant breach of paragraphs 10.29 & 10.30 of the Bar Code , in that he has failed to act with candour and independence in the interests of justice, and knowingly deceived or misled the Court , when making a mitigation speech at Eastern Magistrates' Courts (ESCC 2524/2019). Alternatively, he was incompetent in his professional activities, and breached paragraphs 4.1 (d) of the Bar Code in the same matter.
